DBN Homes engaged First Draft Communications to completely rethink its online presence – creating a bold new look with a sharper user experience and smarter functionality.
The existing DBN Homes website needed more than a visual refresh. With a growing range of home designs, house and land packages, inclusions and facade options, the challenge was to make a large amount of information feel simple and intuitive. We rethought the site structure and customer journey from the ground up, creating clearer pathways for buyers to explore designs, compare options and find the information they need without feeling overwhelmed.
Behind the new look is a streamlined, flexible content system built in WordPress using Elementor Pro and ACF. Reusable templates and custom fields keep home designs and packages consistent and make ongoing updates far easier, while responsive layouts ensure the experience works just as well on mobile as desktop. The result is a cleaner, faster and more sophisticated website that better reflects the DBN Homes brand – and gives their team a platform designed to grow with the business.
With so much of the research and decision making process now happening on phones, the mobile experience was a priority from the very beginning. Home buyers are browsing properties, comparing designs, checking prices and floorplans, and making enquiries wherever they happen to be, often moving between devices as they narrow down their choices.
The DBN Homes site was designed to make that journey feel just as considered on a phone as it does on a larger screen. Navigation, filters, floorplans, home specifications, packages and enquiry pathways were carefully structured for smaller screens, keeping information clear, accessible and easy to explore without compromising the overall design experience.
